1st November - both Angel and Sasha were entered into the Agility Dog of the Year at Newark this weekend but both decided to do a 'Boxer Round' of Agility and totally ignore any instructions given - both had fun but both were eliminated !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We put it down to the wind making them mad today :o) made us feel better!

26th - 27th September - Dog Vegas Agility Show
Elliot was asked to handle 'Nile' a Bearded Collie - Nile and Elliot gained a Clear Round in Large Agility Grade 1-3
Elliot was amazed at how quick Nile could motor!

Nile and Elliot

14 - 16 August 2009 International Agility Festival 2009 - Northamptonshire
The Kennel Club International Agility Festival
We have never seen such a large agility show people from all over the world were competing and a fantastic weekend was had by all
Jack and Sasha competed - click Here for their results
Jack also ran Trigger Kenny and Maya Hedges in the over 12 Agility Dog of the Year
Maya and Jack completed the course with 5 faults and Trigger and Jack did very well but as Trigger is so quick compared to Sasha
poor old Jack stood too close to the weaves, as Sasha still needs some guidance, whereas Trigger is used to powering into the weaves
The sun shone and as always it was a complete blast!!!!!!!

July 25th / 26th - Derby Agility Show, Catton Hall
Jack was in despair this weekend as I had forgotten to enter the boxers, but Bev Holmes and Tom Marples came to his rescue
and let him run their dogs! This is what Jack, Foxy and Bob achieved:

Sunday 26th July
Any Size jumping
Foxy (Ready Red Reynard) and Jack……. clear run 30 seconds
Bob (Rock on Robert) and Jack ………….clear run 17 seconds
Foxy and Jack are great at getting steady clear runs thanks Bev for letting him run Foxy
Tom, Bob's owner, had despaired of Bob as he had been sticking 2 fingers up at Tom for the last few years and although
Tom knew Bob was perfectly capable of achieving clear quick rounds it wasn't happening!
Jack persuaded Tom to let him have a go and the result made Tom, Jack and Bob over the moon!!
Thank you Tom and Bob

Next weekend I have entered both Sasha and Angel so fingers crossed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This weekend (June 6th & 7th) was North Derbyshire's Agility Festival (the Agility club that we are members of) held at the polo ground at Osmonton
Although the weather was hideous and the rain fell relentless all weekend a good time was had by all and North Derbyshire's fantastic team rose to the occasion
Angel came into season so was unable to attend much to her disgust!
Sasha handled by Jack did us proud coming very close to achieving clear rounds she just needs to work with Jack on her weaves
Elliot as he didn't have Angel to handle ran Dan in any size on both days and we are proud to say that even though Elliot and Dan had only had a passing acquaintance they achieved the following
Wathon Black Rumfor Trispirit AW (Dan) and Elliot Wilkinson
Any Size Jumping judged by Ian Watts
Clear round 30.374 seconds
Elliot was over the moon (Elliot in his spare time indulges in motocross and doesn't come training in agility so this really was an achievement) a big thank you as well to Lisa for the loan of Dan

Saturday 30th May Pads Agility Festival, Catton Hall, Derbyshire
This weekend the boxers where not running they were saving all there energy for North Derbyshire next week!
My Friend Jane Hedges lets me borrow Maya from time to time (a Flatcoated Retriever) to run in agility
We were so pleased to archive the following result (Maya is so willing and sweet)

Paula Wilkinson and Maya (Trevorsilk Indian Queen CDex)
Graded 1-2 Combined Agility judged by Jay McCartan
Clear round and placed 15th out of 122 dogs - Course time 33.336 seconds
